Writer and editor, based in London.
I'm an associate editor at VICE's international women's publication, Broadly. Previously, I was a staff writer at Dazed & Confused magazine.
I also freelance for a variety of publications, including the Guardian, Observer Magazine, Evening Standard Magazine, Time Out, The Debrief, Refinery 29, ELLE, The Quietus, Lonely Planet, Independent, Wired Magazine, Marie Claire, Crack Magazine, Mixmag, The Telegraph, DJ Mag and more.
I specialise in long-form, heavily reported features, like my long-read into stag do deaths or erectile dysfunction, my deep dive into Men's Health cover transformation stories, or my investigation into when one night of binge drinking ruins your life.
In 2018 I appeared on BBC Woman's Hour to launch Broadly anti-stalking campaign UNFOLLOW ME, which calls on the UK government to introduce a Stalkers Register to protect victims of serial stalkers and domestic abusers. My FOI investigation revealed that 49 women had been murdered by partners, exes or stalkers, despite reporting them to police before their deaths. Broadly's campaign was covered by Grazia, the I, Independent, Yorkshire Post, Woman's Hour, Evening Standard, The Telegraph, the Victoria Derbyshire Show, WikiTribune and more. The UNFOLLOW ME documentary I produced into the life and death of Alice Ruggles, who was murdered by her stalker ex-boyfriend, received over a million views and was played in full on the BBC. UNFOLLOW ME was a finalist in the 2019 Amnesty International Media Awards, in the innovation category.
I have produced VICE documentaries and moderate and speak on numerous panels. I also undertake commercial copywriting for a number of clients, including the Boiler Room and Guardian Labs, and am available for commercial commissions.
